Oyo Elders Council: Lanre Sarumi Extols Leaders, Commend GSM.

A stalwart of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) from Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Lanre Sarumi has commended Governor Seyi Makinde over the inauguration of the State Elders Council. Hon. Lanre Sarumi, who was the party’s flag bearer at the 2023 general election for the Federal House of Representatives, made this known while speaking to a correspondent of Community Magazine, Mr Olu Faleye on Tuesday

Lanre Sarumi expresses his exhilaration on the recent inauguration of the 9-member Elders Council of Oyo State, under the capable leadership of Dr. Saka Balogun and Elder Wole Oyelese as Chairmen. This milestone underscores the Governor’s commitment to inclusive governance and his astute recognition of the invaluable role our elders play in shaping the trajectory of our beloved state.

The composition of the Elders Council, with individuals of remarkable experience and expertise such as Engr. Hamid Gbadamosi, Chief Mrs. Mutiat Ladoja, Ambassador Ronke Adefowope, Chief Jacob Adetoro, Chief Adedamola Eyinade, Alhaji Nureni Akanbi, and Chief Sunday Ogunlade, reflects a judicious selection process aimed at maximizing the council’s potential for impact. Their continued contributions are poised to elevate the effectiveness of his administration and further the developmental goals of our party.
