O.T Alphonso Consults Launches Intensive Digital Skills Training to Empower Young Nigerians for Global Remote Jobs

In a bold move to equip young Nigerians with relevant digital skills and connect them with global job opportunities, O.T Alphonso Consults has announced a 6-week intensive training program scheduled to run from July 24 to September 4, 2025.

The program is designed to empower participants with high-demand remote work skills, enabling them to earn income both locally and internationally. The initiative comes at a time when digital work opportunities are exploding, and Nigerian youth are increasingly looking for alternative sources of income amidst rising unemployment.

According to the organizers, the training will focus on five core digital skills that are helping young professionals secure remote jobs and earn sustainable income:

  1. Copywriting – Selling with Words: Participants will learn how to craft persuasive content for ads, emails, websites, and social media, with opportunities to work with brands and agencies globally.
  2. Graphics Design – Because Looks Matter: This module will cover essential design skills for creating logos, flyers, and marketing materials. With the right skills, trainees can land freelance gigs on platforms like Fiverr and Upwork.
  3. Web Development: From personal portfolios to e-commerce sites, participants will learn how to build websites that meet international standards, opening doors to tech-related freelance and full-time roles.
  4. Data Analysis: The program will introduce data tools and techniques, enabling trainees to support businesses with insights and reporting, especially in fields like tech, health, and finance.
  5. Virtual Assistance: For those who prefer administrative tasks, virtual assistance training will provide skills in scheduling, email management, social media support, and more — all essential for modern businesses.

Speaking to reporters, a representative from O.T Alphonso Consults, Mr Oludayo Carter Faleye, noted:

“We’re not just offering training; we’re offering transformation. After the 6 weeks, participants will be guided on how to apply for jobs, build their profiles, and begin earning in both foreign and local currencies.”

Young professionals across Nigeria are already making impressive income working as remote copywriters, web developers, and virtual assistants — often earning between $300 to $1000 or more monthly. The training aims to replicate these success stories for new learners.

Registration for the program opens on July 1, 2024, and interested individuals are encouraged to secure their spots early due to limited space. The organizers are also calling on well-meaning individuals, NGOs, and corporate sponsors to support or sponsor underprivileged youth to participate in the training.

“This is more than training — it’s an opportunity to change lives,” the DST Admin emphasized.

For further inquiries or to register, interested persons can contact the DST Admin via WhatsApp at 08160024685.

With Nigeria’s youth unemployment at critical levels, initiatives like this may be the spark many young people need to break into the digital economy and thrive.
